Looking for something interesting take on japanese? Have a JAPANESE BURGER at Sango. It’s like a japanese mcdo burger…who would’ve thunk? Its located at the Creekside Mall along Amorsolo Street. It’s beside Pharoah :)
Sango specializes in burgers and fries. Its specialty is the MASTER BURGER which we ordered. There was a special sauce that came with it which was hassle to eat but well worth it. I think the sauce is similar to sloppy joes (tomato sauce mixed with onions, etc.) We only tried the burgers but there are other delicious options in their menu. They serve rice burgers (hopefully better than the terrible idea mcdonalds had), rice toppings, and even dessert. I’m dying to try out their melon soda which is supposedly made out of cantaloupe not the usual melon.

I really love the concept of the joint. It’s very pop japanese (if there’s such a word). The ambience is appropriate, wooden tables that look like fast-food cubes. There’s a bookshelf featuring japanese magazines and graphic novels. A TV that plays japanese music videos and the like. The place appeals to all ages. I recommend bringing your friends and family for a meal there. Something new than your usual quarter pounder.
