I’m a big tea fan. I drink tea twice a day or sometimes three times I day..YES..I love tea that much. I even have my own tea drawer at home which is why I wanted to share with you one of the neatest tea places in quezon city — KOZUI GREEN TEA CAFE. Kozui serves all kinds of stuff with green tea from drinks, latte’s, desserts. They also (of course) have an extensive tea menu as well as having some traditional japanese dishes.
I love the ambiance of kozui — very clean, minimalist, fresh and bright. I drop by kozui often when I’m studying at coffee bean or if I just want to have a healthier “frap” or just eat some amnitsu which is the japanese version of the halo-halo. Everything is tea-inspired which is very creative. The servers are very nice and the owner is there sometimes and they will be very happy to suggest their specials or help you make your choice.
It’s also good to study there since its quite which is another plus for me plus climate control is great — just right. Like most cafe’s in the metro they have wifi..but it gets better ‘coz its free so that’s another bonus for going to Kozui. Last night, BF and I grabbed a quick dinner at Kimono Ken (next door to Kozui) and decided to have dessert at Kozui. I ordered my usual amnitsu with extra fruit of course!
MANGO AMNITSU. One of my favorites! It’s the japanese version of a hal0-halo fileld with some mangoes, pink and white dango balls, taro jam, green tea jelly and of course green tea ice cream topped on a bed of ice. All the ingredients go together perfectly. Yum!
Clean & Refreshing ambience at Kozui
Green tea cheesecakes!
We just ordered dessert this time but I’ve already tried a lot in Kozui –equally satisfying. Try their special takoyaki balls (commonly known to some as samurai balls) and their donburi items. I sometimes go to kozui for lunch (so out of the way) before going to rockwell. For a quick fix of japanese food and some wonderful tea alternatives go to Kozui! For more reviews just click on the related posts. I’ll feature more of the food next time when I get back there to have a meal. Enjoy!
