Power Plant mall has a new addition to its list of restaurants. Pepper Lunch is finally here in Manila. Its located beside jollibee where the old shakey’s used to be. Goodbye Mojo potatoes and hello hamburger pepper steak!
I’ve been dying to try pepper lunch in powerplant. Good thing I haven’t tried the “copycat” restaurant in trinoma.
Studying a stone’s throw away from powerplant I’m always on the look out for new places to eat. Something to put in my options of restaurants to eat lunch at. Pepper lunch is great! The meat is really tasty and I love the fresh pepper flavor. They say they use fresh peppercorn the outer part which is most fragrant. Downside through is its PRICEY (goodbye lunch everyday pepper lunch) and well..you SMELL like what you ate
Don’t go there during lunch time though, go there a little later since there’s a pretty long line and you might have to wait to get a seat. Everyone wants to try Pepper Lunch!
Hamburger Steak Meal - HOT HOT HOT. Really very tender. The meat was delicious and tasty. mix it all up! cook it the way you want too.
Cut Steak & Hamburger Combo P350 with drinks — I LOVE my meal. It was pretty heavy. I thought It wouldn’t be heavy but it was heavy. The meat was really tender and very tasty. The pepper aroma was divine. The price is steep though but for the quality of meat its pretty good. Perhaps if you order the rib-eye you wont feel its priced too much for the kind of meat you get.
Vanilla Crepe Cake – very light. I love crepes so I was very partial to this dessert. The meal was quite heavy so its nice to end the meal with something light.
Pros: Clean Resto, Tasty Meals, Fast Service, Friendly Staff Cons: Pricey, Since its new there might be a line during lunch time, you have to line-up like in a fast food Pepper lunch isn’t a date place, its a place to eat with family and friends. Don’t bring your date here, both of you will smell like sizzling plates. hehe! You don’t really have enough time to read the instructions so here’s a guide for you: 1. Line up. They’ll give you a table number. Go to the counter and place your orders. Your orders will be served at your table. 2. If you’ve ordered Pepper Rice: MIX IT ALL UP AGAD!!!! 3. If you ordered the hamburger steak or any of the steak combos: Spread the butter & cook the meat on both sides as it is raw. You can place the cooked meat on the vegetables so it doesn’t over cook. You can also cook the vegetables on the plate. 4. Put steak sauce. Its on your table. yummy!!! 5. You can also put your rice in and mix everything. Basta mix everything it is sooo tasty
